PTA Membership Drive
Please send in the PTA membership included in the first day packet. Cost per person is $6.00. We’d love to see 100% participation from our families this year! A portion of each membership covers national dues with the remainder benefitting our students at HHE.
Every absence must be followed-up by a note from home or a call to the office within two days. Our attendance phone number is 754-323-6200. No absence is an excused absence without communication. You will receive an automated call regarding unexcused absences. Any child arriving after 8:15 a.m. must be accompanied into the office by a parent. For attendance purposes, you must sign your child in and bring proper identification. Early dismissals will not take place after 1:30 p.m. Students will be released to the parents on the registration form and to any emergency contacts listed on the Emergency Contact Card. All students must be signed out through the school office with proper identification.
If you wish to celebrate your child’s birthday at school, please make arrangements at least 24 hours in advance with your child’s teacher. Please limit what you bring/send to cupcakes/cake and drinks. Do not bring/send in goodie bags, decorations, balloons, etc. These celebrations should be no longer than 10-15 minutes, as our teachers and students need to get back to teaching and learning.
Breakfast and Lunch
Breakfast and lunch are offered daily. The price for breakfast is $1.20, and lunch is $2.00.Read more...
Response to intervention (RtI) is a process that provides interventions and educational support to all students at increasing levels of intensity based on individual needs. If you believe that your child is struggling in school, please talk to your child’s teacher. If you would like more information about this process, please call the school and/or visit www.browardprevention.org.
